The Department of Teacher Training in Electrical Engineering began to recruit students for the first time since the academic year of 1969, called the “Electrical Methodology Department”, which is a department in North Bangkok Technical College. In 1976, the Department of Teacher Training in Electrical Engineering recruited graduate students for a Master of Science in Technical Education Degree in Electrical Engineering. In 1977, the King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology North Bangkok Council had a resolution to call the new branch as “Electrical Engineering” under the Department of Teacher Training in Electrical Engineering in the Faculty of Technical Education. Due to the Engineering Profession Control Committee certified graduates with a bachelor’s degree from the Department as associate engineers since 1975. After the Federal Republic of Germany had provided assistance until 1979, the Department has developed and improved programs, tools, equipment, teaching and lecturers.
