Year 1977 – Department of Teacher Training in Electrical Engineering, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok

In 1977, the King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology North Bangkok Council had a resolution to call the new branch as “Electrical Engineering” under the Department of Teacher Training in Electrical Engineering in the Faculty of Technical Education. Due to the Engineering Profession Control Committee certified graduates with a bachelor’s degree from the Department as associate engineers since 1975. After the Federal Republic of Germany had provided assistance until 1979, the Department has developed and improved programs, tools, equipment, teaching and lecturers.
